Escape room prices are usually quoted per person, but the per-person number doesn't tell you what your group will actually pay. Ticket minimums, private or shared games and what a party package includes can all change the total. Here are Bond's listed prices in Fairfax and Arlington, checked on its live site on October 12, 2026, what they add up to for real groups, and three ways to pay less.

The short answer

  • Escape rooms: $34 a person for a 60-minute private game, the same at both locations.
  • Minimum: three tickets ($102) for most rooms. Four rooms book on two tickets ($68).
  • VR Arena: $37 a person, about an hour including gear-up. Fairfax only.
  • Game Show: $37 a person, 60 minutes, up to 16 players. Fairfax only.
  • Birthday packages: $49 a guest Sunday to Friday, $56 on Saturdays.
  • Team building: from $325 a team.

You book at the listed price on the booking page, and any discount comes off at the front desk when you arrive.

What the price includes

The $34 gets your group the room to yourselves for an hour, and Bond's never puts strangers in your game. Hints are included. A game master watches the whole hour and sends one whenever you ask, and you get a photo at the end. Every player signs a waiver, either online at bondswaiver.com or on a tablet when you arrive.

Food isn't included. Pizza and drinks come with birthday packages, and for team events they're part of the quote. You'll want to arrive a few minutes early for the briefing, so plan on about an hour and a quarter at the venue.

Groups of two and the three-ticket minimum

Most rooms have a three-ticket minimum. Two people can still play any room in the building, and it stays private. You just pay for the third seat, so a pair pays $102.

The cheaper option for a pair is one of the four rooms that book on two tickets, for $68:

The VR Arena takes 2 to 6 players per arena, so two people pay $74.

Death by Chocolate in Arlington takes up to 10 players at $34 each.

Cost by group size

These are totals at the standard price, before any discount.

2$68 in a room built for two; $102 in any other$74$74
4$136$148$148
6$204$222$222
8$272$296 (two arenas)$296
10$340$370 (two arenas)$370

A few things the table doesn't show:

  • Ten players in one room. Only three rooms take 10: Save the White House III in Fairfax, and Death by Chocolate and Sleepover Slaughterhouse in Arlington. Otherwise, split into two rooms of five. You pay per person, so the total is the same.
  • A Game Show slot can be shared. A standard slot seats 16, so a smaller group may play alongside another. You can ask for a private show by phone or email.
  • VR runs 2 to 6 per arena. Groups of 7 to 12 use both arenas at once.

Birthday and team pricing

Escape room birthday parties are a two-hour event at $49 a guest Sunday to Friday and $56 on Saturdays. That covers an hour of escape room, VR or Game Show, an hour in a private VIP room before or after, pizza and drinks, a customized birthday card hidden inside the game, and a host who runs the party.

The minimums set the lowest price. An escape-room or Game Show party needs 10 tickets, so the smallest one costs $490 Sunday to Friday and $560 on a Saturday. A VR party needs six tickets, which comes to $294 or $336. If you're weighing that against a party at home, our home vs venue cost guide does the math.

Escape room team building starts at $325 a team for groups of 6 to 150. The quote depends on headcount, how many games each person plays and whether you add catering, the on-site conference room in Fairfax or a full venue buyout.

School groups get their own rates. One room for up to 10 players is $250 instead of the usual $340, and two to five rooms are $24 a person instead of $34. For the classroom side, read how Bond's approaches educational escape rooms for schools.

Ways to save

Bond's runs three standing escape room deals. There's no promo code. You book at the regular price, and the front desk takes the discount off when you arrive. All three work on escape rooms, the VR Arena and the Game Show, at both locations.

  • George Mason students, 20% off. Show a current Mason ID. Sunday to Friday only.
  • Second game, 20% off. Play one game, book a second for the same day, and the second is 20% off. This one works any day, Saturdays included.

Most groups can use the second-game deal. Say six friends play an escape room ($204) and then the VR Arena ($222, less 20%, which is $177.60). They pay $381.60 for two hours, or about $64 each.

Read the fine print on the deals page before you count on a discount. Discounts can't be combined with each other or with other offers. They don't apply to birthday parties, private events or team-building packages, which already have package prices. The page also says discounts aren't valid with a single game, so if you're planning on the military or student rate for one booking, check with the front desk first.

Gift cards

Bond's gift cards aren't a discount, but they're useful if you're treating someone. You buy them online, they arrive by email, and they cover 1 to 20 tickets for escape rooms, the VR Arena or the Game Show at either location. To put one toward a birthday party, call the location, since parties are booked with the team rather than online.

Questions people ask

How much is an escape room for 2 people?

At Bond's, it's $68 in one of the four rooms that book on two tickets (Escape From Venus II, Bowl Voyage, Dr. Panic's Asylum or Saddlewood Saloon), or $102 in any other room because of the three-ticket minimum. The room stays private either way.

How much does an escape room cost per person?

$34 a person for a 60-minute private game, at both the Fairfax and Arlington locations. The VR Arena and the Game Show are $37 a person.

Is there a cheaper day to go?

The standard price is the same every day. The military and George Mason student discounts run only Sunday to Friday, and birthday packages are $49 a guest Sunday to Friday, compared with $56 on Saturdays.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Bookings aren't refundable, but you can reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice by calling the location you booked.

Can I use a discount on a birthday party or team event?

No. Party, private-event and team-building packages already have package pricing, so the military, student and second-game discounts don't apply to them.
