We don't just build games. We build rooms you walk into with five other people and walk out of with a story — whether that is a locked room, a VR arena, a game show stage, or a mystery waiting in a house in the mountains.
The mission has not changed since the first two rooms: make adventures that challenge the mind, spark a bit of creativity, and give friends, families and teams a reason to look at each other differently for an hour.

2015
The beginningEgor and Anna Bond opened Bond's Escape Room in Fairfax at a time when there were fewer than 20 escape rooms in the whole country. They started with two games and no playbook to copy.

2016
Innovation on wheelsBond's built the first mobile escape room in the United States and drove it to schools, festivals and corporate events — bringing the game to people who had never heard of one.

2017
The largest on the East CoastFairfax grew to seven rooms, making Bond's the largest escape room center on the East Coast and leaving space for a real spread of themes and difficulty levels.

Storytelling meets scaleTen rooms. Bowl Voyage, 1960 and 2233 took players through time travel and deep space, and the original White House room was rebuilt as White House II.

Arlington opensA second location opened in Arlington with its own lineup of rooms, five minutes from the Clarendon Metro, giving players another side of the river to escape from.

Going virtualWith the doors closed, Bond's launched online escape games so teams scattered across the country could still solve something together over video.

Art AttackArt Attack opened in Arlington: the first hybrid escape room and splash room in the country, half puzzle hunt and half permission to make a mess. Custom school projects grew alongside it.

Education meets experiencePublic schools kept asking, so Bond's built custom educational escape games that put critical thinking and teamwork into the curriculum without it feeling like homework.

Reinventing the experienceThe Fairfax lobby was fully renovated — modern design, immersive staging, somewhere you actually want to wait. Saddlewood Saloon and The Sleepover Slaughterhouse kept topping the board.

2024
A year of launchesDr. Panic's Asylum opened in Arlington, and Save the White House III revived the room that started it all. Behind the scenes, work began on free-roam VR and a live game show.

2025Bond's Entertainment Center
Bond's rebranded as an entertainment center: an 11,000 sq ft Fairfax hub with two free-roam VR arenas and a live Game Show stage alongside the rooms. The 10th anniversary year passed 500,000 players and 15 escape rooms across two Northern Virginia locations.

Quest House
Our other venture is three hours west of the front desk. Quest House is a vacation rental in the Shenandoah Mountains with an escape room built into the house — you book the whole place, and the mystery comes with it.
